Dog Stolen

Theft, August 25, 2010, 200 Block Kentshire Drive (LT) – A resident of the 200 Block of Kentshire Dr, Lancaster Township, reported that his five-month-old pitbull was stolen from his backyard sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. August 25, 2010. The dog had been chained to the back deck. The dog is bluish gray weighing approximately 40 pounds with a white stomach and a white patch of fur on the front right paw. Loss $700.

Theft from Vehicle

Theft from Vehicle, 4:00 a.m. August 24, 2010, Livingston Lane (LT) – A resident of Livingston Lane, Lancaster Township, reported that he observed two males entering unlocked vehicles in the Mill Creek Manor complex at 4:00 a.m. August 24, 2010. The resident chased the suspects into another residence in the complex. The investigation is continuing.

Wanted for Burglary & Vehicle Theft

A criminal complaint has been filed against Corey T. Armor M/38 of Main Street, Steelton, for Burglary, two counts of Theft, and four counts of Access Device Fraud.

On July 24, 2010, an employee of the Rodeway Inn, 30 Keller Avenue, Manheim Township, reported that her 1994 Plymouth Voyager had been stolen from the lot of the hotel. The keys to the car had been stolen from a room at the hotel sometime during the day. Her purse was in the car at the time of the theft. Credit cards that had been in the purse were used on the same day to make four purchases at stores in Elizabethtown and Harrisburg.

Armor was identified by investigators through surveillance video at the stores. The vehicle was recovered by officers when they went to a relative’s house on Main St in Steelton on July 27, 2010. Armor was not located. The criminal complaint was filed before MDJ David Miller.

A felony warrant now exists for Armor’s arrest. His photo appears below. Any person with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact their local police department or contact the Manheim Township Police Anonymous Crime Tip Line at (717) 569-2816.

1) Burglary, 9:45 a.m. August 3, 2010, 100 Block Sterling Place (LT) – Alexander Rivera M/29 of North Street, Lancaster, was arrested following an incident in the 100 Block of Sterling Place, Lancaster Township, at 9:45 a.m. August 3, 2010. Rivera took some items from his ex-girlfriend’s residence after forcing open a door. He fled but was located nearby and taken into custody by responding officers. He was arraigned before MDJ Sponaugle on charges of Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and Harassment, and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.

2) Theft from Vehicle, 100 Block Atkins Avenue (LT) – A resident of the 100 Block of Atkins Ave, Lancaster Township, reported that a window on his vehicle was smashed sometime overnight August 2-3, 2010, while the vehicle was parked in front of his residence. Several electronic items were taken. Loss $420.
