Armed Robberies

The Manheim Township Police Department and the East Hempfield Township Police Department are investigating four convenience store armed robberies which occurred this past weekend:

• 7:26 a.m. Dec 18, 2010 – Turkey Hill, 1349 Millersville Pike, Lancaster Township
• 6:25 a.m. Dec 19, 2010 – A-Plus, 1204 Lititz Pike, Manheim Township
• 1:22 a.m. Dec 20, 2010 – A-Plus, 1204 Lititz Pike, Manheim Township
• 4:44 a.m. Dec 20, 2010 – Turkey Hill, 2171 Columbia Ave, East Hempfield Township

The robberies were committed by a black male in his 30’s or 40’s, who was wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and black gloves. In each case, the suspect went behind the register and confronted the clerk. A knife was displayed in three of the four robberies. The suspect fled the stores on foot after obtaining cash from the store. There were no injuries.

It is believed that the robberies were all committed by the same individual. Surveillance photos from one of the robberies appear below.
