Thursday police blotter

1) Vehicle Theft, 1700 Block Judie Lane (LT) – A resident of the 1700 Block of Judie Lane, Lancaster Township, reported that their 1999 Honda Civic was stolen sometime overnight March 30-31, 2010. Loss $3,500. The vehicle was recovered later in the day by the Reading Police Department, but the vehicle had been stripped.

2) Vehicle Theft, Knollwood Drive (MT) – A resident of the first block of Knollwood Drive, Manheim Township, reported that their 1996 Honda Civic was stolen sometime during the early morning hours of March 31, 2010. Loss $2,500. The vehicle was recovered later that same day by the Reading Police Department, but it was missing all four wheels.

3) Attempted Vehicle Theft, Clark Street (LT) – A resident of the 900 Block of Clark Street, Lancaster Township, reported that an unsuccessful attempt was made to steal his 1998 Honda Civic sometime overnight March 30-31, 2010.

4) Theft from Vehicle, 1600 Block Chadwick Circle (LT) – A resident of the 1600 Block of Chadwick Cir, Lancaster Township, reported that a stereo and Ipod were taken from their unlocked Honda Accord sometime overnight March 30-31, 2010. Loss $340.

5) Theft from Vehicle, 900 Block Clark Street (LT) – A resident of the 900 Block of Clark St, Lancaster Township, reported that a stereo head unit was stolen from their Honda Civic sometime overnight March 30-31, 2010. Loss $210.

6) Theft from Vehicle, 900 Block Clark Street (LT) – A resident of North Broad Street reported that the stereo was taken from their unlocked Honda Accord sometime overnight March 30-31, 2010, while the vehicle was parked on Clark Street, Lancaster Township. Loss $150.
